Virginia Spring State Meeting 2008

More than 600 members of Delta Sigam Theta Sorority, Inc. from the state of Virginia met on April 11 and 12, 2008 in Williamsburg for the annual Spring State Meeting. The Williamsburg Alumnae Chapter graciously served as hosts for the event that was presided over by our South Atlantic Regional Director, Linda Wilson. The meetings were held on the campus of The College of William and Mary. Dr. W. Fanchon Glover, Acting Vice President of Student Affairs - Assistant to the President and a member of Williamsburg Alumnae Chapter gave greetings from W&M to us as visitors to the campus. The Virginia State members chose as their service project to donate prepaid calling cards to members of the US Military; representatives from the nearby military base came to collect the cards and were pleased that members of the military and their families were receiving them. It was a full day of workshops, lunch, vendors and that good old Delta Spirit.
